Frozen smoothie apples
This recipe was originally from Sugar the Golden Retriever. I added some yogurt to make it a frozen smoothie apple.
You will need the following ingredients:
- 2 apples
- 2 strawberries
- 1 banana
- 2 oz. of organic yogurt
- Cut the apple in half.
- Scoop out the insides, leaving the walls intact at about 1/2 to 1/4 inch thickness. (Remember to remove the seeds.)
- Place scooped out apple in the blender with the banana, yogurt, and strawberries. Blend it.
- Pour into the apple.
- Freeze it for about 20 minutes. Then slice into small pieces.(Don’t freeze it too long as it will be harder to cut.)
- Re-freeze it after cutting.
- Serve and ENJOY!
